05.17.20 | Would've done write-ups but so many of these are so forgettable
Anyway if I had to rank the Bonds (not an avg):
1. Dalton
2. Connery
3. Craig
4. Moore
5. Lazenby
6. Brosnan | Source
05.17.20 | tnd rocks | Trifolium
05.17.20 | Omg Brosnan at 6!!! And what in heaven's name is The World Is Not Enough doing all the way down there?
Love the Dalton love though! | Emim
05.17.20 | I'd put Goldeneye higher but I might be conflating my feelings for game. | porcupinetheater
05.17.20 | Finally some justice for the Dalton years | neekafat
05.17.20 | Fuck yeah Dalton rules and I'm sorry Trif but that's like the Batman and Robin of the franchise :/
@Emim I enjoyed the hell out of it but it felt a bit overrated! | JohnnyoftheWell
05.17.20 | 1 is overrated (but good), and 22 and 23 are both low key the best things to come out of the Brosnan and Moore eras. 2 and 3 are both v v good | Sinternet
05.17.20 | I thought we as a world settled the debate, the best bond was moore | JohnnyoftheWell
05.17.20 | this is true & was settled as such | DoofDoof
05.17.20 | Brosnan still looks the most like you'd expect Bond to look I think...
...but a lot of the Brosnan films are at least as cheesy as the worst of the Moore era.
| neekafat
05.17.20 | 23 was the blandest, most shoddily paced film of the franchise until Quantum of Solace happened. 22 was genuinely gross in the way it handled the femme fatale and was just not a good movie to begin with | neekafat
05.17.20 | I agree with Doof yeah | Egarran
05.17.20 | Hot Fuzz made me forgive that other guy for everything.
6 is 1 | neekafat
05.17.20 | I think you mean Dalton
fair pick regardless (; | Egarran
05.17.20 | Doh, thank you | JohnnyoftheWell
05.17.20 | "...but a lot of the Brosnan films are at least as cheesy as the worst of the Moore era."
yes duh, moore's brand is literally camp cheesiness
| ZombieToyDuck
05.17.20 | 1 is 1 correct sir | Thalassic
05.17.20 | 5 is probably my fave | JokineAugustus
05.17.20 | 2 or 5 would be my fav | JokineAugustus
05.17.20 | Dalton best bond hard | Deez
05.17.20 | https://youtu.be/czWLEbNwjCI | Divaman
05.17.20 | I've been starting to watch some of these since I've been stuck in quarantine. So far, Casino Royale is my favorite. (The Daniel Craig one, not the David Niven one, of course.) But believe it or not, I've never seen any of the Sean Connery ones except Never Say Never Again, I've never seen any of the Timothy Dalton ones, never saw the George Lazenby one, and only saw the first Pierce Brosnan one. | neekafat
05.18.20 | Dalton rules yesyes Diva definitely check his two out! Lazenby + Dalton makes one hell of a trilogy imo | el_newg
05.18.20 | props for Dalton and Lazenby up high. but any bond fan worth their salt knows whats what anyway.
Goldfinger's always gonna be my fav | Egarran
05.18.20 | "bond fan"
That may be your problem right there | neekafat
05.18.20 | idek if I'd call myself a Bond fan, such a spotty franchise | Divaman
05.19.20 | I almost started watching some of the Connery ones, but I watched a couple of the trailers, and they look so dated now. | neekafat
05.19.20 | Just watch From Russia with Love, that one holds up super well actually | Scheumke
05.19.20 | 3 would be 1 for me from the ones that I've seen (many of the older ones I haven't). Might be a fun thing to get onto though. Great listidea neek. | neekafat
06.02.20 | Late but thanks bud!! |
