I'm turning 18!

I'm turning 18 soon and I want to make a list of music that I've been listening to a lot lately and that I think is significant to who I am as a person. Also kinda making this as a sort of blog. Maybe I'll make these once a year for this occasion if i eventually feel like my birthday is significant enough in the future to make a list.
1Counterparts

YNYAM was the first album i heard from these guys. I hated it. Then it grew on me. Now i have their whole discography.
2Tigers Jaw

I saw them just this last Sunday, March 11, 2018. My birthday is exactly a week after that on the 18. Today is the 15. I really enjoyed their set. I spent the whole day there with my girlfriend in Santa Cruz just walking around going into stores and such until it was time for the show. We also saw Black Panther and it was really great.
3Gulfer

These guys just released an album (Dog Days i think) and its really freaking awesome. Didn't think i'd be getting a contender for album of the year so early. PLease check them out if you haven't yet.
4A Lot Like Birds

Specifially DIVISI, even though i know a on of people hated that album and just the band in general for releasing it without KT, but honeslty fuck KT. I like that there aren't many screams. Songwriting is tighter and production is great. I wish more bands made great post hardcore like this.
5Damn Good Dog

These guys are from my home town. They have a fantastic EP that they just released in January and I also got to see them at a local show. Great shit.
6Donovon Wolfington

This band gives me the same feeling i got when i heard Dance Gavin Dance for the first time and Tigers Jaw for the first time and puts those two feelings together. Esta super cul. New album is fresh.
7Greta Van Fleet

I just discovered this band isn't old as shit. I dont mean their age, i mean that i just found out the band isn't from the 90's or something. I heard so much about them and saw the name EVERYWHERE but never thought of checking their music. Now its' chill. Been digging it, but i can't tell what bothers me more, the fact that the singer sounds just like you know who or that they're making great music at my age while I'm over here getting declined into my school of choice.

Really just something to let go to. Pretty nice landscapes. Pretty chill tunes.

Yunahon is flamas. My girlfriend and i watched the vid for reindeer games together and she said she didn't like that most of the shots of the women were of them with near nip slips or reall cheeky shots. I told her to get out. Lolz aside this album is 100 perciento enjoyabo
