05.02.16 | For some reason, the fourth band I listed didn't show up, prob cause their not in the data base. recommend listening to just the last minute and a half of two songs, Carnage, and Unheard, by Move Like Attis. |
MarsKid
05.02.16 | Shadow of the Colossus - Endgame and Ovid's Withering - Scryers of the Abyss should be pretty much required listening if you want some quality deathcore.
In terms of melodic hardcore, check
Seasons in Wreckage - Perspectives
Tanooki Suit - All albums
I Saw Daylight - Despair |

05.02.16 | ^thanks for the recs bruh, just checked em out. they ight, but I'm lookin for something a bit heavier, more aggressive. Closer to dark hardcore, but keepin it metal-y.

05.02.16 | I know pretty stupidly undescriptive. feel like what I'm looking for straight doesn't exist yet frustratingly. |
MarsKid
05.02.16 | Damn. If Ovid isn't aggressive man that I dunno how to help.
Maybe Point Below Zero - S/T EP. |
TheTripP
05.02.16 | lost soul - atlantis the new beginning
Insomnium - Shadow of the Dying Sun
Amon Amarth - With Oden on Our Side...
Based on what you told MarsKid I don't really know what you are asking for... |
MarsKid
05.02.16 | Apparently really metal really melodic deathcore, and I don't think such a thing exists. You either get one or the other usually. |
TheTripP
05.02.16 | Serenity In Murder - The Highest Of Dystopia
Is best bet... |

05.03.16 | @Marskid, Ovid is pretty aggressive; its just not very rhythmic or adrenal for me. I'm also not into shit that is too de-personalized usually, like a lot of death metal that talks about shit so abstract as to create distance between speaker and audience. And ya I think you're right. I don't think this does exist. Just wanted to make sure. Oh well, I guess I'll have to write some tracks.
@Aaron911, Serenity in Murder isn't what I'm lookin for, but at the same time its pretty tight, and probably the closest. thanks b. |
TheTripP
05.03.16 | Ha well I tried! Alustrium Is prog/metalcore with melody to it... if you find what you're looking for lmk I am curious |
