I haven't played at all since they complained, and ordered 2 inch memory foam plus 8 inch high density foam to place under the entire kit, which should be a decent buffer to kill most of the vibration. Once that's in, I'll ask if they still hear it. Worse case scenario I can't kill the sound completely and I'll work out hours with them where I can play

MO 01.25.18	unless you get some serious sound proof flooring installed, I don't think there's much you can do to dampen the sound besides putting a lot of underpadding under the kit. kinda like a foam flooring tiles or something

supremejelly 02.02.18	I dont think anyone cares, but for anyone who's in a similar situation, I put together something that I think worked (I played from 7:30-9 and no complaints) From top to bottom: Got KT-10 pedals Noise Eaters Thin rug 2 4x4 MDF panels attached with 3 planks 10" memory foam topper (8" high density foam + 2" memory foam) 2 more 4x4 MDF panels Small yoga mat Thick area rug I may have went a little overboard but hey if it works..
Mardorien 01.23.19	I achieve such a meditative symbiosis with the drum kit that when I play, I float three feet off the floor along with the kit. Problem solved.

supremejelly 01.28.19	Yeah, I had it on a rug, mat, and that ghetto foam topper setup I mentioned in my last comment. It didn't work 100% (neighbors complained still) so I gave up. But I've moved to a different place with a concrete structure and haven't heard a complaint with this setup: yoga mat, thin drum mat, KE-10s and Noise Eaters.
