So I Finally Got Into Black Metal

After over a year, I finally found my niche in BM. What helped me get into it? Listening to The Microphones/Mount Eerie. The appeal is there now. Granted, it seems I favor USBM and BM with animistic themes. If anyone can give recc's based off the below, max preche.
1Wolves in the Throne Room
Two Hunters

I *thoroughly* enjoy this album. It took a minute though. The first few listens everything sounded kind of homogenous (entering the genre as a whole, tbh), but now much of this album gets stuck in my head. The melodies and rhythms are iconic. I absolutely love the drumming on this album. This, thus far, has been ideal BM for me. I'm beginning to realize homogeneity is a compositional draw for me, now.
2Moonsorrow
Viides luku - Hävitetty

Have loved this album for awhile now. Just too epic.
3Agalloch
The Mantle

Great atmosphere. Like this a lot. I think I like BM that's more "post" type of composition. I do not like the clean vocals on here.
4Weakling
Dead as Dreams

Fantastic stuff. Was surprised. A little too dark and edgy for my tastes, but god is this good. The second half of the t/t blows my mind. Any BM that almost gets lost in its own ambiguity/noise I seem to like.
5Drudkh
Autumn Aurora

Love the first half of this album. Some of the riffage in the second half is a little corny to me. Read too much about this guy/band. It's hard to come back to this album knowing the dude's past/NSBM in general.
6Deafheaven
Sunbather

Awesome album. Dislike the interlude tracks... always skip them all. But I like the energy. Helped ease myself into the genre.
7Emperor
In the Nightside Eclipse

I'm only just now getting into this album. I'm understanding the appeal. I'm understanding why it's classic. May be a little too "old school" for my tastes right now. But I'm hearing why it's well regarded.
8Paysage d'Hiver
Winterkälte

On the last thread of this I did, I said I couldn't get into this album. I am now getting into this album. Great music to get lost into. Listened to the most recent album and enjoyed it, but haven't listened to it again since release week.
