Cali Xmas 2017 review

Review of Cali Xmas 2017, a hip hop festival that was at the forum in LA on December 16, 2017.
1Rich the Kid
Keep Flexin

Played that New Freezer song or whatever.
2Majid Jordan
Majid Jordan

Honestly I appreciated these guys' set. The one dude is a great singer and the other guy plays a little keyboard and handles all the instrumentals. The instrumentals sound so dreamy and beautiful in my opinion. Definitely mellower stuff but good overall.
3G-Eazy
The Beautiful & Damned

This guy is pretty much a clown. Played that "No Limit" song, then he did a different song, then played that "No Limit" one again. Way to cement yourself as a one hit wonder. Worst performer of the whole set for sure.
4Joey Badass
B4.DA.$$

You were the best one, Joey. Your backing band was tight as hell and you were on point. Kind of reminds me of Kendrick Lamar, but if he actually sang his singing parts live. I wish more rappers nowadays were as thought provoking and raw as him.
5Kid Ink
Summer In The Winter

This guy was pretty meh but the girl I was with liked him for whatever reason.
6Big Sean
I Decided.

Big Sean is the most average rapper I've ever heard. But "I don't fuck with you" and "Bounce Back" go hard live.
7Travis Scott
Rodeo

Alright I like the mechanical bird thing and I'm glad you used it but you were standing on that thing for 80% of your set, Trav. He teased a bunch of songs and would cut them abruptly. "Antidote" of course went hard but he cut it before the rapping part. Butterfly Effect and Goosebumps were awesome. Would've loved to hear 90210 though. Overall I'd say he was great but not as good as Joey Bada$$.
