Hauntingly beautiful, spielhur is told like a fairytale about a little man pretending to die and sleeping underneath the sand with a music box in his hands. The real meaning behind the lyrics is the story of a baby recovering from apparent death waking up in his coffin crying and screaming. In the end he gets saved because some folks heard the music box playing. Despite the good ending the whole song has a chilling atmosphere that makes it worth a pick. |

The chorus with the audience answering after the verses about mind controlling is the perfect depiction of blind faith and mindless following, this concept works most of all in live shows. I find this subtle mind game wickedly brilliant. |

Behind awesome riffs and catchy chorus the lyrics are straightforward graphic depicting extreme sadomasochism acts and sadistic fantasies such as Barbed wire inside the urethra, rodents chewing genitals, humiliations,a face pinned by medals, pus and burnt flesh. At least is specified to be consensual. |

The verses describes the suffering in details and the chorus really captures the vibes of the little girl's obsession with melancholic vocals singing "the fire loves me not" and manic screams singing "FIRE LOVES ME". The ending is very atmospheric too. |

The softness of this song and it's implications makes it even more disturbing than the more graphic Weisses Fleisch imo. |

The story of a man contemplating the view from a tall bridge when a crowd gathers under him believing he is going to jump. When it's clear that this guy won't kill himself the crowd starts to encourage him to jump to satisfy some kind of perverse voyeurism. The poor guy starts to cry and a man from the crowd climbs to push him down and gets acclaimed by the people below. Sadly it sounds like a truly actual scenario. |

A boy affected by an intellectual disability and constantly sedated and locked in a room witnesses her (supposedly younger) sister doing her job as a prostitute and one day a client hits her to death. The boy gets mad and delirious bites his doll's head off. What can i say more? Musically is a slow burner, the first half is eerie and the haunting guitar riff builds up til the madness explodes in the second part where Till sings in a demented tone perfectly capturing the mood of this fucked up track. |

The climax of this track is insane.
Starts as a gloomy ballad and evolves into one of their most aggressive pieces with some of Till's most vicious screams. It's basically a love song from a perspective of an obsessed person that walls alive his beloved into an house devoid of windows and doors. The lyrics describes the desperation and anguish of the girl and the man's crazed delusions. In the last chorus Lindemann tears out his vocal chords and the song ends with a shrieking "no one will hear you scream!". |

The most infamous in their catalogue. The real story of the Rothenburg Cannibal Armin Meiwes
and Bernd Brandes who consensually let himself being cannibalized,Meiwes consume d his body for days. The lyrics are from Brandes perspective during his cannibalization. Meiwes severed his penis to eat it while he was still alive, in fact mein teil is a pun which means both "my piece" and "my penis". Musically it sound gritty and raw and after the bridge we hear screams that probably represents Brandes screams of pain after the mutilation. |

Being more disturbing than mein teil wasn't an easy task but the overall atmosphere that gets under your skin and the fucked up lyrics makes it even worse. The intro build tension and the background orgy noises sets the atmosphere, the transition from whispering to the traditional hoarse vocals, the dissonant ark-like verses and that litany towards the end. The lyrics about an insomniac forcing his little brother to have sex to induce sleep and the "father, mother, child" incest reference are downright disturbing. |

Definitely deserves the first place. While it's less explicit than the previous pick, the subject is one of the most disgusting facts happened in modern history. Josef Fritzl kept his own daughter Elizabeth locked in a bunker for 24 years, phisically and psychologically tortured her and made 7 children with her. He took away some of her sons because he was afraid that his family could've discovered them because of their cries (yes, the family had Elizabeth under them for 24 years and nobody suspected anything). When she was out of her father's captivity Elizabeth was totally alienated. Wiener Blut tells this story through an alternation of gloomy atmospheres and heavy screamed choruses. Their heaviest piece along with B********. |
