Yeah, it's a fine instrumentation over rapping. It's fine. 3

Not as terrible as most of what they do, but still a fairly unremarkable tune. 3

Andrew Jackson Jihad have intrigued me for a while now, but I only listened to one or two full albums. Gotta get on this one soon, cause it's quite touching. 4.5

I suppose you could say I tolerated it... when it played in my headphones... while I was in another room... asleep. 1.5

One one hand, my brain fails to register this as music. On the other hand, I just want to tune out and exist in whatever balls-tripping Mongolian desert this is taking place. 3.5

This album strikes as both mesmerising and off-putting at the same time. I am not certain what to think of it, but I definitely won't chill to it, as kids say. 3

While I am normally not a fan of this kind of tacky sterilised post-hardcore, this actually appealed fairly nicely to me. Might revisit the band's other work. 3.5
2015: Arcane roots- Heaven and Earth
Just like Protest the Hero, but to a much, much more successful extent. 4

It's not that this EP is offensively bad, but it does carry nothing much of interest to me. A banal club music. 1.5

OutKast has always been one of those hip-hop outfits, whose appeal I understood, but never really managed to get into. This song is just fine, but repetitive. 3.5

Quite fitting mashup, but it only works, because both of the featured songs are great. 3
