1John Williams
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull:

People find Shia LeBeouf's character annoying, but like have you ever seen Temple of Doom? Willie and Shortround are borderline insufferable. There are more than a few stupid moments in this film, like the monkey scene and nuking the fridge, but theres a certain charm to it which I find endearing. Dumb, fun entertainment.
2Elliot Goldenthal
Alien 3

Alien 3

Following up two of the greatest science fiction films of all time is no easy feat, but Alien 3 tries its very best to do something new, while retaining the overall tone of the 1979 original. The decision to kill off Hicks and Newt and making every character interchangeable bald British dudes were questionable to say the least, but the film is home to a plethora of fantastic sets, visual effects and intense action sequences.
3Harry Manfredini
Friday the 13th

Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood

Zombie Jason Vorhees vs. Carrie; need I say more? Pretty much the only Friday the 13th film from the original series that actually contained fresh ideas. The unrated cut also features arguably the best practical gore effects in the entire series.
4John Williams
Jurassic Park: The Lost World

The Lost World: Jurassic Park

Much darker than the original, but still wildly entertaining. The San Diego scene alone makes this movie worth a watch. So many great action set-pieces and genuine tension during the dinosaur attacks, with many characters who should have plot-armor bite the dust in horrendous ways. RIP Eddie.
5Jerry Goldsmith
Gremlins

Gremlins 2: The New Batch

Pretty much a straight up parody of the original film, and an absolutely hilarious one at that. So many fun and entertaining scenes of Gremlins mayhem, with a healthy and pleasant dose of self awareness.
6Lich King
Toxic Zombie Onslaught

Day of the Dead

Romero’s best zombie film by a long shot.
7John Carpenter
Halloween

Halloween III: Season of the Witch

WhErE’s MiChAeL mEyErs???!!!!1!1!!! Shut the fuck up dude, it’s Silver Shamrock time.
8Oingo Boingo
Dead Man's Party 12" Promo

Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2

Another straight up parody of the original film, and this one’s even more batshit insane than Gremlins 2. Bright lights and BIG TITTIES! WHEW!!
9Alan Silvestri
Predator

Predators

What a great premise for a Predator film. The execution is a little iffy at times, but its still a lot of fun. I mean it's got a scene where a member of the yakuza duel's a predator with a fucking katana.
10Bear McCreary
Godzilla: King of the Monsters

Godzilla: King of the Monsters

This is the film 8 year old me had always dreamed of seeing on the big screen. Gave me everything I wanted out of an American adaptation of the classic Godzilla monster royal rumbles. People like to bitch about how poorly the characters were portrayed, but this film at least got the most important character, Godzilla himself, extremely correct. Compared to the 2014 film, KOTM is exponentially more entertaining.
11John Williams
Star Wars, Episode I: The Phantom Menace

Jar Jar Never bothered me. Also, the soundtrack of this features some of the greatest compositions in the entire series. Duel of the Fates is iconic. Fuck Attack of the Clones though, that one sucks.
