Iron Maiden Ranked
16Iron Maiden
No Prayer for the Dying

Has some good songs, but my least favorite thing here is NOT Bruce's vocals but the generic songwriting.
15Iron Maiden
Fear of the Dark

Title track rules, the production is good, and there's some good songs, but again, it falls short.
14Iron Maiden
Virtual XI

A pretty solid album with some very good songs, but is held back by its repetitive nature and some filler.
13Iron Maiden
The Final Frontier

Pretty bloated, but with some patience and time, it's quite good.
12Iron Maiden
Dance of Death

It's nothing special; just a solid Maiden record.
11Iron Maiden
The X Factor

Yes, I like this album quite a bit. It is good indeed if a bit too long.
10Iron Maiden
The Book of Souls

The double length of the record has put me off several times, but there's great material within.
9Iron Maiden
A Matter of Life and Death

Doesn't reinvent the wheel for the band but shows their flare for strong songwriting.
8Iron Maiden
Brave New World

A very good comeback album. It's almost like Bruce never left to begin with.
7Iron Maiden
Piece of Mind

I find it their weakest of the 80's, but that doesn't make it a bad record. In fact, it's very good.
6Iron Maiden
Killers

Another successful take on heavy metal with a punk flare.
5Iron Maiden
Somewhere in Time

The futuristic concept and addition of synthesizers make for an intriguing listen that's easy to distinguish from the rest of their catalog.
4Iron Maiden
Seventh Son of a Seventh Son

Among the best heavy metal concept albums out there and Bruce's best performance to date.
3Iron Maiden
Iron Maiden

There's no overlooking their debut. Infused with punk and gritty production, you get a killer formula that may have brought forth a different Maiden had they kept Paul.
2Iron Maiden
The Number of the Beast

Stuffed with band classics and Bruce's highest vocal notes to date, this was their first nosedive into the Maiden we've come to know today and is among the best metal albums out there. Sometimes, I take this over Powerslave.
1Iron Maiden
Powerslave

This is where all of Maiden's strengths have coalesced, and instead of shitting out rainbows, it shits out some of their best works ever and killer songwriting. At the end of the day, this is their quintessential statement as a group and as a pillar in the realm of heavy metal.
