| My debut LP is finally finished! (usermade)
Hey guys! After getting a lot of feedback on my Linkin Park Remix I've decided to make this record the best there is possibly, and making the guitars way more realistic for this release, and teach myself a thing or two about masting. This record has a ton of influences, and the music is pretty diverse. There's some info for each song on Bandcamp, but I'll share some additional info here.
On this record I've tried to make make these songs more structured, giving them more of an identity and utilizing interesting chord-progressions to keep the songs from being boring.

1. Entrance: Started out with a orchestral part that was written to be an electronic / dark ambient part. Didn't really know where to take this song so just started to joke around with some synths and came up with an upbeat, retro-vibed song. Had some jazzy chords that I experimented with and they fit perfectly into the middle section. Was really surprised that I finished this song without adding a 'metal' part. | 3 | | Earthside A Dream In Static
2. Comet's Fall: Intro riff is my favourite riff I've written to this day, has a Periphery vibe, but this song is really ambient, and has an ABBA part in the middle (according to CalculatingInfinity). It's the messiest song on the record, but I think it still flows well. | 4 | | Leprous The Congregation
3. Clear: The most djenty song on the record, has some wierd rhythms but mostly revolves around synths and happy melodies. Would be an Arch Echo ripoff, but I didn't know that band before I finished this song so I hope I don't get sued. | 5 | | Saor Aura
4. Moon's Light: This song threads more into atmospheric black metal, still a lot of synth work, but more 'folky' melodies to accompany the ambience. | 6 | | Devin Townsend Project Transcendence
5. Returning: A more poppy song, no wierd structures here, just a catchy chorus with some verses. Tried to make this song catchy while not becoming generic and boring. | 7 | | Arcane Roots Melancholia Hymns
6. Dew: This is the most ambient this record is gonna get. Has an extended, building intro. Written around spacious chords and utilizing only a few riffs. | 8 | | Aeternam Moongod
7. ...What's Left: This one has the most obvious influence. I've tried to make a song that was 100% oriental metal, and it worked out quite well. Has a cool intro-riff in a wierd time signature. | 9 | | Born of Osiris Soul Sphere
8. The Glimpse: A long song that makes some wierd twists and turns. I especially love the middle section. | |

03.05.18 | Nice man! Congrats on the release, it sounds like you really worked hard to release something you'd be proud of. I gave it a listen, and the compositions are well done and the album is varied throughout. You mix the different genres well while still sounding cohesive so good job on that. There are some nice grooves on here and while I think there is room for vocals, it does work well as an instrumental record | chemicalkid44
03.05.18 | Like DungeonBoy said, there is definitely room for vocals. I like the instrumental composition, and it sounds really nice. Really enjoying "Entrance", "Clear" and "The Glimpse". | Beardog
