TheSonomaDude 11.30.17	"Yeah don't understand this, they are pretty much the same..." well i mean except that Load has a shit ton of excellent songs with some filler, while ReLoad has nothing but filler with the exception of maybe 3 songs. there is nothing on Reload as near as good as "Bleeding Me" "Outlaw Torn" "Hero Of The Day" "Until It Sleeps" "Wasting My Hate" etc, while Reload additionally has some of Metallica's worst songs such as "Where The Wild Things Are" and "Attitude" and "Better Than You" and "Bad Seed".

Imagine if you wrote 30 songs, and you ranked each song from best to worst. Then imagine you put the best 15 on one CD, and the bottom 15 on another. Simply put, Load has some of Metallica's most heartfelt and mature material while Reload is dull at best and unbearably cringeworthy at worst. To me, Load and Reload are night and day because one is powerfully moving while the other one is shit. They do have the same writing styles (which I guess is where the confusion comes from?) but to say they both are on the same level of musical quality is very false.

KingdomOfTyrant 11.30.17	load was 3 or 3.5 for me on first listen but it grew on me a lot. the outlaw torn, bleeding me, hero of the day, wasting my hate, the house jack built, until it sleeps, king nothing, wasting my hate, thorn within, ain't my bitch are all excellent songs while reload only have fuel, memory remains and unforgiven II. the rest is shit.
