Went To The Original Newbury Comics Today (super Cd Run)

Hung out with a few friends today in Boston, MA, and got to see the roriginal Newbury Comics on Newbury Street. Needless to say, I bought A rLOT of records while I was there
1The Red Chord
Fused Together in Revolving Doors

Usually not a fan of deathcore, but this album rules hard. I heard about these guys
awhile back when a Jazz band at my old school covered "Breed The Cancer" from
this album
2Incubus
A Crow Left of the Murder...

I've held back on buying this Incubus record for awhile now, but the special edition
was available for only 6 bucks, so I couldn't refuse. So far, so good, still probably
prefer Make Yourself and Science
3Sneaker Pimps
Becoming X

Underrated trip-hop, while the big hit from this definitely is 6 Underground, the
whole record has a great dark atmosphere and remains solid throughout
4Stone Sour
Audio Secrecy

I initially didn't like what I heard from this, but after getting into a conversation
with a friend over the band, I decided to give it another chance. Glad I did, and
other than the god-awful Hesitate (which sounds like the theme to some crappy
high school love story movie), the album is full of satisfying hard rock songs with a
healthy dose of pop thrown in
5At The Drive-In
Relationship of Command

I think this one is self-explanatory, have had this at a 4.5 for awhile but now
considering 5'ing it. Essential post-hardcore
6Spin Doctors
Pocket Full of Kryptonite

Heard Two Princes on the radio the other day and was reminded how catchy that
song was, so I decided to pick this up for pretty cheap. Going on a blind purchase
for a early 90s college rock band from only knowing one song, I'd say I did alright,
as it's a really fun record
7 The Cranberries
Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We?

My mom introduced me to these guys a long time ago, and I got a huge nostalgia
rush when I saw this. Dreams is a perfect example of how to write an amazing
dream pop song
