Matia Bazar rules hard woo, Serge Gainsbourg is cool but Bonnie and Clyde was NOT it SlothcoreSam is our winner, so the next 2 albums I listen to will be HIS choice! I will give each at least 1 listen, at least 3 listens if they're 2.5's or higher. The only stipulation is that the albums have to be under 3 hours each. So no Bull of Heaven ;)

Demon of the Fall 01.11.24	Only Skin is an easy 5/5 song, nice God Bless was a great choice also, love that Lamb album Night Cruising rules also Drink Nike is a weird choice for that album, but okay cool interesting looking game, even if I did miss every other round congrats to Slothcore!

I just felt Drink Nike was in line with a streamlined punk dynamic but also has a choppy wonky guitar line and prominent bass in the verse which Ars usually likes (I considered Chin Music, Stand by your manatee and That damned fly), and I wanted short energetic songs to round out the list after 'Only Skin'
Demon of the Fall 01.11.24	Arming Eritrea / Chin Music are just better songs imo and definitely have the same hard hitting energetic streamlined punk thing going on
fogza 01.11.24	arming is a better song, but i wanted something in which the verses were thinner and transitioned into the muscular part of the song instead of the other way around, also arming is more of a build up kinda thing. I dig 'chin music' but 'drink nike' is definitely the better song imo

fogza 01.11.24	actually, i did well with my drink nike selection. i got kinda in my own head and changed my original choice for my indie and dream pop pick, but in retrospect I think I should have gone with my first two picks that I thought about a lot. I think my original indie pick would have won it for me damn my lack of conviction
