RaBID's July selection
In a continuous effort to shape the world to my will and vision, i come once again to illuminate you all into the way of good taste, refinement and joyful rejoicing of pure delight. Listen or perish. |
1 | | Poly Styrene Translucence
(quirky pop)
it's one of those quirky fem-vox 80's pop albums everyone should listen to because they're great. likeable friendly music. |
2 | | Skeleton Crew The Country of Blinds
(prog)
you like Black Midi and all that crap? lol lmao. it's ok. Check this out, tho. |
3 | | Ray Lynch Deep Breakfast
(electronic classical)
neo-classical with synths. It's one of those albums that go and make themselves at home with you, you know? |
4 | | B L A C K I E... All Caps, With Spaces Wilderness Of North America
(industrial hip hop)
s/o ghandi for bringin this up... Or was it some1 else? dunno. Anyway, its industrial hip hop with a southern gothic heart. Very interesting. |
5 | | osees Metamorphosed
(garage psych)
these mf keep dropping some of the most interesting guitar music in the genre, really. There's no mistaking it. |
6 | | PJ Harvey Uh Huh Her
(singer songwriter)
everyone's PJ tier-list are wrong. This so not her worst! Some top 10 songs here, imo. MY own tier list is coming as soon as i finish her last 2 albums. |
7 | | sneaker pimps Becoming X
(trip hop)
a genre standard i never bothered with. Might have restarted my interest in it. Lovely. |
8 | | Asian Glow and Weatherday Weatherglow
(indie rock)
nice EP full of gloomy energy. I like where this is going, hope there's more on the way, tbh. tried their respective stuff and it's kinda boring lol |
9 | | Elsiane Mechanics of Emotion
(trip hop/electronic)
this is better than Bjork. I don't care much for her music. I like this quirky female singer, tho |
10 | | Cranes Loved
(alt rock/goth)
now THIS is amazing. If this was quirky f-vox list, this would be top #1 spot, no contest. Cranes fucking rule. |
11 | | Return to Forever Romantic Warrior
(prog jazz)
tbh, i only listened to this bcause of the cover art. It's bangin, i liked it a lot, actually. Prog jazz is... not cool. But its fun! |
