Drone music and How to listen to It

I really like droning Ambient music, but I find it very difficult to listen to a whole album without starting to feel disconfortable, or anxious at the 20 minute mark with most albums. I usually listen at night before going to sleep or when I'm laying on the bed just chilling and listenning to some music. So, how do you normally listen to it?

This one is my favorite, but I can only listen till Broken Harbors on one go. It's like you "feel" the sounds being recognized and interpreted directly in your brain. Crazy stuff. And beautiful.
