| Bring Me The Horizon Ranked
This is a band that I used to listen to many years ago, that I haven't listened to for ages. Recently, I started listening to them again and here we are. | 5 | | Bring Me The Horizon Count Your Blessings
Not an awful album at all, but not a good one either. Early-mid 2000s metalcore/deathcore that is done about as generic as possible with a handful of decent riffs here and there. Forgettable.
Favourite Tracks:
Pray for Plagues
(I Used to Make Out With) Medusa | 4 | | Bring Me The Horizon That's the Spirit
I loved the song Drown when I first heard it, but the album overall I didn't really like. It's too generic and radio-friendly and BMTH doesn't really suit this style. Although you can't deny its catchiness. Not a bad album, but an average album, with some highlights here and there.
Favourite Tracks:
Drown
Throne
True Friends
Happy Song | 3 | | Bring Me The Horizon Suicide Season
Believe it or not, this is the first metalcore album I ever hear, and I fucking hated it. But over time it grew on me, it was responsible for getting me into a lot of the music I listen to now. A decent, if somewhat generic album.
Favourite Tracks:
Diamonds Aren't Forever
The Comedown
Chelsea Smile
The Sadness Will Never End | 2 | | Bring Me The Horizon Sempiternal
The album that really exploded the band into the mainstream and catapulted their popularity. I loved this album when it came out but I soon got bored of it. Most people consider this to be their best album and I can see why, there's a lot of great catchy songs on this album. However, in retrospect, I believe 'There is a Hell' is truly their best work and the most quintessential BMTH.
Favourite Tracks:
Can You Feel My Heart
Shadow Moses
Sleepwalking
The House of Wolves
Go to Hell, for Heaven's Sake | 1 | | Bring Me The Horizon There Is a Hell, Believe Me I've Seen It...
This is the album where they really found THEIR sound. The new sound may have been polarising at the time, but this is by far their best album in my opinion.
Favourite Tracks:
It Never Ends (best BMTH song IMO)
Fuck
Crucify Me
Blessed With A Curse

09.08.18 | I think I like Sempiternal the best if only for its consistency. There Is A Hell... feels like half great tracks and half duds imo. | mrdogthrow
09.08.18 | >bmth lists
at least it coherently explained, also
Favourite Tracks:
True Friends
come on | G0atC0re
09.08.18 | @Ninjahague yeah they're pretty shit overall tbh. I don't really listen to TTS that much at all, that's just the main songs I've listened to more than once. I mainly listen to Drown and Throne and not much else from that album. | G0atC0re
09.08.18 | @InFiction yeah, you're right. I just think 1 is better and more BMTH's 'true' sound, it's the sound/style that suits them the best imo. | soulxstlr
09.08.18 | You know, I was never really a BMTH fan, but I did quite enjoy "There is a Hell..." | JeetJeet
09.08.18 | Yeah this ranking is pretty much spot on. | TheSpirit
09.08.18 | CYB
Semp
Suicide
Hell
TheSpirit | DaarrthVadr
09.08.18 | Yep, this is correct | Larkinhill
09.08.18 | I pretty much agree with this, only id put Sempiternal in first and TIAH in second. | Larkinhill
09.08.18 | But damn, no Suicide Season as favorite tracks? That’s my fav on the album.
And no Hospital for Souls as fav SP tracks?! Damn. | elliootsmeuth
09.08.18 | I would switch 2>1>3>5>4, but pretty agreeable ranking overall though. | SymbolicInTime
09.08.18 | @Ratmeat How is TIAH shit compared to SS??? Suicide Season is basically a slightly evolved CYB, and TIAH is just a further evolution from there.
Also, 2>1>4>3>5 but this is still a good ranking for sure |
