05.24.16 | @Wham49 - Those two Pentagram vinyls and especially 52 is quite hard to get in physical form. 2 with the 1996 demo contains one of their most beautiful tracks IMO. The track is Because I Made It which made it onto the bands newest record Curious Volume. It's quite raw but still listenable. It sounds a million times better than the Curious Volume version. The guitar solo in that song smokes! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3zc1trTM_E |

05.24.16 | thanks dude, Pent rules, getting anything of theirs in original vinyl is an honor, the later you go back the better the version, I refer everybody to their first daze series, they are still recycling those songs time and time again |

05.24.16 | Actually my favorite record by them is Show 'Em How from 2004. Internal Void did a great job playing some of the old Pentagram stuff. Bobby's vocals is very bizarre and will turn some off. Though his vocals is drug influenced he sings with so much passion, and remember, Bobby was a major crackhead at that time. He nails it on the autobiographical Prayer for an Exit Before the Dead End, Goddess, Show 'Em How and Last Days Here. On that album along with the two previous ones, he doesn't sing about a man shooting dope. He was in fact that man killing himself toxic amounts crack. It just makes the songs so much real.. almost like social realism in music, ha! Give it a listen if you haven't already. |
