With Kayo Dot, Time of Orchids and Secret Chiefs 3 on this list I recommend to check out some more stuff from Tzadik (John Zorn, Toby Driver’s soloalbum and just look what else you can find - sadly I'm not too familiar with that label, though I’d like to be) and Hydrahead (Isis, Pyramids, … many of the new releases are streamed on their website, btw)
And here's some more interesting stuff:
Mastodon - Leviathan
In Mourning - Shrouded Divine (because it's so similar to Opeth)
some old King Crimson stuff like "Red"
Oceansize - Effloresce
Neurosis - Through Silver in Blood

All those bands (except newcomer In Mourning) have other genius albums as well, those are just the ones I think are the easiest to get into and/or their best.
