End Of February Renovations

This month was even better than the last. It is the 28th where I am, and i won't be able to binge all of these until Friday or Saturday night, so I make the list now, and use it as a guide for my my mediafire raid in a few days. Cheers.
1Burzum
Belus

BM being BM
2Mayhem
De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas

I've had this for a while now, but didn't get around to listening it ti'll a few months later. It was pretty good for BM.
3Darkthrone
A Blaze in the Northern Sky

This band was certainly better in their early days, but towards the end of their discography, a huge depression took place in their discography. This was one of the most redeeming albums by them.
4Immortal
Diabolical Fullmoon Mysticism

Although these guys didn't suffer too harshly, they were still better in their early days, much like most BM bands that i've found. Well, the ones that had a huge impact anyway.
5Gorgoroth
Antichrist

Since i'm just going down the line at the beginning to the end of February, these are in no particular order, but i would probably stick this very high up there if I was.
6Satyricon
Nemesis Divina

Considerably better than most anything the band has to offer. This only took one listen to get my approval.
7Emperor
Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk

You need this album. It's as simple as that.
8Amon Amarth
Twilight Of The Thunder God

At this point, other than my next exploration into unblack metal (ugh) your standard BM is officially over. Thank God too, it was getting to be overwhelming. Since i'm leaving my black metal binge, even though I said I did a while ago, this was absolutely amazing.
9Manowar
Battle Hymns

One of my biggest and best albums of this month. I was surprised to be honest, didn't think it'd be this great.
10Enslaved
Axioma Ethica Odini

Again, huge surprise.
11Einherjer
Blot

Yes
12 Mortiis
Født til å Herske

You need this album. Don't deny it.
13Stryper
Against the Law

Christian metal does have its moments. But very little of them.
14P.O.D.
Satellite

Not as good as some of the other things, but it's alright for its origins.
15Tourniquet
Microscopic View of a Telescopic Realm

OK, but I am still glad christian metal is gone. You can't headbang with god's witnesses watching you.
16Mortification
Scrolls of the Megilloth

Hmm, guess it's not over, but after all, this is an amazing album, you need it.
17Horde
Hellig Usvart

I only feel it necessary to put this here because of how awful it was. I don't usually rate metal this low, this soon, this quickly, but this was more detrimental to my ears survival than anything Venetian Snares has ever done.
18Antestor
The Return of the Black Death

Pretty entry level if you ask me, but straight decency all through these guys albums.
19Crimson Moonlight
Veil of Remembrace

Interesting, and that'll probably be the only reason why I get this.
20Death
Individual Thought Patterns

YAY! DEATH METAL!!!! You need this.
21Morbid Angels
Domination

I had heard Altars of Madness before, and decided to explore further, and I must say, I am pleased...Greatly.
22Cannibal Corpse
Bloodthirst

I admit it, I hadn't explored anything outside of ToM or Gore Obsessed, but when I finally did, I was amazed, especially by this album, which is pretty heavily underrated. God bless the man who came up with this album art m/
23Deicide
Insineratehymn

Moar DM is necessary.
24Entombed
Morning Star

You need moar DM.
25Six Feet Under
Maximum Violence

I've never been a fan of Chris Barnes, even in his time with Cannibal Corpse, I just disregarded the first two albums, and didn't really like them. His former band Six Feet Under, became exactly that after a couple decent albums like this.
26Gorefest
Chapter 13

This took multiple listens for me to give an accurate rating on it, and I enjoyed it every time.
27Deuteronomium
Street Corner Queen

Kool
28At the Gates
With Fear I Kiss The Burning Darkness

This band maintains a steady career, and their consistence is probably the best thing about them. I'll probably get this album along with another, but that's it really.
29Dark Tranquillity
The Gallery

This band rules, you need this album and all the others.
30In Flames
Colony

This a very interesting band, I had a good tiem going through this, heavily anticipating the next album every time.
31Pestilence
Consuming Impulse

Raw and headbanging. Your typical DM album, along with some headbanging, you need it, etc.
32Atheist
Piece of Time

This is more necessary than food if you ask me.
33Nocturnus
Ethereal Tomb

I've this for a while, but just listened to it, and it was alright.
34Cynic
Focus

Downright classic.
35Origin
Echoes of Decimation

Is there nothing a good tech deth band can do?
36Cephalic Carnage
Anomalies

This band has a couple of albums that I hate, that most other people love, and this was pure enjoyment for reasons I can't understand. I'm definitely getting this.
37Black Sabbath
Mob Rules

This band. Oh man, this band. It took me long enough to listen to the albums, and nearly 3/4 of the discography is hit or miss as far as i'm concerned. In the beginning they ruled, then they went unsteady, then they teetered, then they sucked, then they sucked more, then they came back full assault, then they sucked again.
38Pentagram
Review Your Choices

The universe is doomed, doooomed, doooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooomed.
39Napalm Death
Utilitarian

FUCKING GET THIS NOW NOW NOW NOW M//M/MM/M/M/M!!!!!!!1!!!!!1111!!!!11!!!!
40Saint Vitus
Born Too Late

41Candlemass
Epicus Doomicus Metallicus

A hard tie for the winning first place.
42Candlemass
Tales Of Creation

w/e, they're both good.
43Earth
The Bees Made Honey in the Lion's Skull

5/5 undoubtedly. Underrated hard. This is pure instrumental beauty that deserves more publicity.
44Boris
Heavy Rocks

Another hard tie
45Boris
Pink

So i'll have to choose both, which'll be hard cuz my ipod won't hold a thing.
46Marilyn Manson
Antichrist Superstar
47Massive Attack
Mezzanine
48Cannibal Corpse
Gore Obsessed
49Cannibal Corpse
Tomb of the Mutilated
50Descendents
Milo Goes to College
