Bjork Ranked

thought I'd do one for the fun of it
1Bjork
Post

Very close with 2, but I always preferred her more "playful" side to her more serious stuff. Post also has more of my favorite songs by her. Favorites: the Modern Things, Isobel, Possibly Maybe
2Bjork
Homogenic

Out of her more matured releases, this is the most gorgeous and also the most satisfying. As an overall album, this is superior to Post. Favorites: Joga, Bachelorette, Pluto
3Bjork
Debut

Same as Post, I just really love her earlier work. There's just something more wide-eyed and "effervescent" about it. Favorites: Crying, Venus as a Boy, One Day
4Bjork
Vespertine

A unique record, even for Bjork. Sparkling and sultry, with a warm crystal-like atmosphere. Favorites: Cocoon, Sun in My Mouth, Heirloom
5Bjork
Volta

Nothing stellar here, but still a solid record with decent variety. Favorites: Earth Intruders, Innocence, Vertebrae by Vertebrae
6Bjork
Medulla

Had a lot more potential. I was disappointed by how pale and boring some of these songs were. Sometimes the all-vocal approach impresses, but it's just too bland for me. Favorites: Who Is It, Oceana, Triumph of the Heart
7Bjork
Biophilia

Personally didn't care for this that much. Some of the instrumentation used here was cool, and a few songs had that glitch stuff from Homogenic which was cool, but this was a bit too minimal and unimpressive for me. Favorites: Crystalline, Hollow, Virus
