Thrift Store Shoppin!

I've made a habit of frequenting thrift stores during my lunch break and have been pleasantly surprised by my finds. All these cost under 5$, in fact most cost me 3$. The majority are CDs, but there's some vinyl mixed in as well. So, if you're into music that was released before 2006 I highly recommend checking out your local Value Village and Salvation Army Thrift Stores as 22 albums for under 100$ in just over a month ain't too bad. (Also great for cheap books).
1The Clash
London Calling

3$ on CD. Saw a fellow shopper look at it, started salivating, and snatched it as soon as he put it back on the shelf. Idiot!
2Fleetwood Mac
Rumours

3$ on CD. Great album with some seriously classic songs.
3Paul Simon
Graceland

3$ on CD. Had never listened to this before buying, but after 3 spins I'm very glad I did. A seriously awesome feel-good record with some really neat African influences. Simon > Garfunkel.
4 I Get Wet
Andrew W.K.

3$ on CD. This was a Sputnik-influenced purchase; album is okay, I've listen to it twice and was not nearly drunk enough both times. If nothing else, it's a pretty funny listen.
5 Is This It
The Strokes

5$ on CD. One of my favourite albums from the past 10 years. Have never owned, but man, this contains great material from start to finish. They'll never top it.
6At the Drive-In
Relationship Of Command

3$ on CD. Another album I should've already owned. Classic.
7The Tragically Hip
Fully Completely

2$ on CD. Another classic in my opinion. For all you Yankees who've never checked these guys out, this is a great starting point and features a lot of their best material. Seriously, check it out.
8 Howlin' Wolf
The London Howlin' Wolf Sessions

5$ at HMV. This was part of the "Epic Sale" they've got going on. A great classic-rock tinged Blues record. This has some great guitar and harmonica work, and Howlin' Wolf simply had the best voice in blues, EVER. Another classic, that any fan of classic rock or blues must listen to.
9Weezer
The Blue Album

3$ on CD. This is the sort of stuff you'll likely find at nearly every thrift store. I think I've came across 2 copies since I bought mine. Weezer's best and a classic of 90's rock.
10Say Anything
...Is a Real Boy

5$ on CD. Found this at CD Warehouse and this is a really nostalgic record for me so I had to buy it. Say Anything's best so far, but their new one sounds like it could give this a run for it's money. But again, I doubt they'll ever top the brilliance that is found on nearly every song of this.
11Counting Crows
August and Everything After

2$ on CD. Another 90's classic - I discovered this a couple years ago and absolutely love their songwriting. Adam has got to me one of the best vocalists in modern rock music - his knack for great lyrics and melodies is unparelleled.
12Counting Crows
This Desert Life

3$ on CD. Not nearly as great as above, but for 3$ I said wtf.
13Pink Floyd
A Saucerful Of Secrets

2$ on vinyl. Ah yeah! This was a surprising find. The sleeve looks great and I probably would've happily paid 8x the price. Salvation Army ftw!
14The Unicorns
Who Will Cut Our Hair When We're Gone?

3$ on CD. For those who are unfamiliar and like indie-pop, this is a must-listen. The Montreal-based, now defunct, duo made some really catchy, lo-fi indie pop before it was cool. Another nostalgic record, that I was super surprised to find. Promo copy too!
15Barenaked Ladies
Gordon

3$ on CD. I don't really know why I bought this. It's probably the only record of theirs worth owning, so again I said wtf. What a Good Boy and Brian Wilson are worth the 3$ alone.
16Talking Heads
Speaking in Tongues

3$ on CD. I found this yesterday and have yet to listen to it, but I've heard good things about this band and like what I've heard from them so far. Looking forward to this.
17Leonard Cohen
Songs of Love and Hate

3$ on CD. I love Leonard Cohen, and apart from a lame greatest hits album I own nothing of his. This is probably his most popular album - chalked full of great songwriting and very chilled out tunes. If you haven't heard him, this is the place to start.
18The Police
Greatest Hits

3$ on CD. I like all their hits so why not?
19Bruce Springsteen
Greatest Hits

3$ on CD. Another musician whose music I don't know well enough. Born to Run was probably my song of the Summer and Frank Turner always cites him as an inspiration so I'll be looking forward to checking this out.
20Frank Turner
England Keep My Bones

15$ on vinyl at concert. I know this doesn't fit in with the theme of the list, but since it's a recent purchase I thought I'd throw it in. This album hit me like a ton of bricks on the first listen, and man, I can't tell you the last time I've had that feeling. This is why Sputnik is on my favourites toolbar. Thank you.
21Frank Turner
Love, Ire & Song

10$ on CD at concert. Album rules.
22Andrew Jackson Jihad
Knife Man

10$ on CD at concert. Album fucking rules. "I wish I had a bullet big enough to fucking kill the sun!" Love that line.
