Thrift Store Shoppin!
I've made a habit of frequenting thrift stores during my lunch break and have been pleasantly surprised by my finds. All these cost under 5$, in fact most cost me 3$. The majority are CDs, but there's some vinyl mixed in as well.
So, if you're into music that was released before 2006 I highly recommend checking out your local Value Village and Salvation Army Thrift Stores as 22 albums for under 100$ in just over a month ain't too bad. (Also great for cheap books). |

5$ at HMV. This was part of the "Epic Sale" they've got going on. A great classic-rock tinged Blues record. This has some great guitar and harmonica work, and Howlin' Wolf simply had the best voice in blues, EVER. Another classic, that any fan of classic rock or blues must listen to. |

3$ on CD. This is the sort of stuff you'll likely find at nearly every thrift store. I think I've came across 2 copies since I bought mine. Weezer's best and a classic of 90's rock. |

5$ on CD. Found this at CD Warehouse and this is a really nostalgic record for me so I had to buy it. Say Anything's best so far, but their new one sounds like it could give this a run for it's money. But again, I doubt they'll ever top the brilliance that is found on nearly every song of this. |

2$ on CD. Another 90's classic - I discovered this a couple years ago and absolutely love their songwriting. Adam has got to me one of the best vocalists in modern rock music - his knack for great lyrics and melodies is unparelleled. |

3$ on CD. For those who are unfamiliar and like indie-pop, this is a must-listen. The Montreal-based, now defunct, duo made some really catchy, lo-fi indie pop before it was cool. Another nostalgic record, that I was super surprised to find. Promo copy too! |

3$ on CD. I love Leonard Cohen, and apart from a lame greatest hits album I own nothing of his. This is probably his most popular album - chalked full of great songwriting and very chilled out tunes. If you haven't heard him, this is the place to start. |

3$ on CD. Another musician whose music I don't know well enough. Born to Run was probably my song of the Summer and Frank Turner always cites him as an inspiration so I'll be looking forward to checking this out. |

15$ on vinyl at concert. I know this doesn't fit in with the theme of the list, but since it's a recent purchase I thought I'd throw it in. This album hit me like a ton of bricks on the first listen, and man, I can't tell you the last time I've had that feeling. This is why Sputnik is on my favourites toolbar. Thank you. |
