11.12.11 | I personally think the ending was worth all the hype, but not everybody thinks so. |
Oceanus
11.12.11 | I keep thinking you're Sean Rizzo. |
Trebor.
11.12.11 | Haven't seen it yet
I find it strange that there are people who hadn't read the books but watch the movies |
IAmKickass
11.12.11 | Sean Rizzo?
And yeah I agree. I finished the books back when the final one came out and haven't gone back to read any since. I'll give it another six months and I might start again just for fun. |
Trebor.
11.12.11 | I read the last book every now and again |
Vesper
11.12.11 | I thought it was disappointing, actually.
Or rather, I outgrew the series, the books included. Sadness. ;~; |
Hyperion1001
11.12.11 | yeah i never read the last book or watched the movies |
IAmKickass
11.12.11 | I heard a lot of people say that the final battle just wasn't big enough. I can agree in a small sense, seven movies built up to an actual physical fifteen minute battle. |
Deviant.
11.12.11 | "Haven't seen it yet

haven't read the books or seen the movies |

11.12.11 | I fucking love HP and the last one filled me with the same intense emotions each of the three times I saw it in theaters. Tbh, I almost cry thinking about how it's over xP |
Vesper
11.12.11 | I read the first four books until their spines were coming off.
My mother went through a fanatical Christian phase during the fifth and sixth books, necessitating my having to borrow them from the library and hiding them between my bed and wall like porn mags (I got caught).
I thought the series ended well.
Then I tried reading them again this past summer and just couldn't get over how simplistic the writing was, which never bothered me before.
I was never a big fan of the movies, but I've seen them all, but only the fifth through seventh ones in theaters, haha. |
IAmKickass
11.12.11 | I saw one through six on the big screen, and than I became poor. Haha. |
parawhorez
11.12.11 | movie fucking ruled. i grew up with HP, damn near the same ages as the characters. as the actors/actresses grew, so did i. seeing everything for so long really marked a spot in my life. bonus, the soundtracks/scores for the movies, ESPECIALLY the last one, was fucking fantastic. |
YetAnotherBrick
11.12.11 | it's one of your two 5's XD |
MisterSteel
11.12.11 | The movies were pretty good, and I was pleased with the last one. Actually thought they handled the Hogwarts battle very well. Favorite scene from all the movies though was that animated sequence for the legend of the Deathly Hallows though from Pt 1. |
parawhorez
11.12.11 | ^love that scene. hard to choose a favorite out of the last movie...tie between snape's memories and harry reuniting with his parents/sirius and lupin before facing voldemort. ahhh [x |
IAmKickass
11.12.11 | That animated Hollows story was absolutely terrific, and I'm going to grab all the scores now and definitely spend more time than I should listening to them. |
parawhorez
11.12.11 | at first i never really spent much time paying attention to the scores until i noticed that, because of watching the movies a million times, i could actually recognize/quote a certain scene with the music behind it/in my head. so i checked out the scores, and they're brilliant. the one from the very last movie is my favorite. i could be a little biased, though, since the last movie was most likely also my favorite haha. |

11.12.11 | 3 was the best movie and maybe even book imo. |
TheNotrap
11.12.11 | Love the Harry Potter series. The last is good but the Philosopher's Stone remains my fav |
Loanshark
11.12.11 | The last 3 books really dipped in quality imo.
I haven't seen the 6th movie or 7th part 1 but I liked every other one except for 5th movie. |
Aids
11.12.11 | Books >>> Movies (obviously), but I still thought the movies were well done for what they were.
The final movie was ok, but a bit of a disappointment. Because, well, pretty much exactly what Riff said in his three points. They really needed to make the prince's tale more of a focal point as it's pretty much the best thing ever and insanely important to the whole story (the entire series). And yeah the final battle wasn't a very good money shot. I mean it was still a money shot, but kind of meh. |

11.12.11 | 'The last 3 books really dipped in quality imo."

11.12.11 | I havent cared to watch the last Harry Potter movies after reading the books. |
whywontyoudie
11.12.11 | My entire childhood consisted of the Harry Potter series, both movies and books. I went to the midnight screening of the last one and when it was over, I felt like a part of my life had ended. Don't give a fuck about how gay that sounds. |
Cells
11.12.11 | Wow fag. Lol jk dude I felt like my life was over after reading the last one :( lol |

yeah 3 is awesome. used to watch the first 2 movies every night, but I've neglected the rest of the series. I've been just recently trying to read through all the books |
