Overall, even being just a patriot is not considered to be a quality here, nobody has a French flag in front of his house, and if someone would have one, he would be seen as a conservative nationalist or something.
You forgot Blut aus Nord as one of the most important french metal band (lets also mention Gorod, Love lies Bleeding and Belenos). Moreover, we have some great Record Label, I think at one point we were the country that produced the most black metal albums. |

Old French new wave cinema is the and absolute tits. You gotta see Eyes Without A Face and Army of Shadows. Jean Pierre Melville is a top notch director. Cant forget Jean Cocteau. Army of Shadows being particularly badass because 1 it was about underground French resistance in WW II and 2. because it was loosely based on his real life happenings. |
