Albums That Have Changed Me

Albums that have changed the way I listen to music forever
1DJ Shadow
Endtroducing

I couldn't tell you how many times I've listened to EVERY song and felt and entire new emotion. Very good stuff.
2Omar S
Just ask the Lonely

This is my all time favorite Electronic pieces. The title track "Just ask the Lonely" is probably the most emotional and strong ritual in an album. I have been listening to it when it first came out and have never felt an uneasy spot or bland point within the release.
3Wolves in the Throne Room
Two Hunters

I'm pretty sure I'm one of the few that would consider Black Metal to be powerful, and this release tells it all. The song "Vastness and Sorrow"gave me this 5. From start to finish, the song is breathtaking and is one of my all time favorite Black Metal albums ever.
4Carcass
Necroticism:Descanting the Insalubrious

Extreme beauty and brutality located within. The progressive feel to it really adds to the emotion in my honest opinion. The final track was probably one of my all time favorite Death Metal songs. The breakdown *shivers, ending, and solo were all incridible.
5Modest Mouse
The Lonesome Crowded West

I remember driving with my family to North Dakota listening to this, album reshaped me.
6Warning
Watching from a Distance

Some Doom Metal I find to be rather boring, the constant sluggish drums and guitars, but this album was an obvious excpetion. A legendary CD that will never fade away from my life
