09.17.11 | Lot of colored. Nice. I only have 1 record that isn't black. But my collection is very young. |

09.17.11 | Yeah, I try to get as many coloured/rarest as I can just 'cause. Leaves me perpetually broke. |

09.17.11 | I think my favourite (in terms of packaging) is the deluxe edition of Parting The Sea... looks amazing. |

yeah, that tends to happen. Can't buy many records now as my money is going towards upgrading my stereo. I have been keeping an eye out for Neurosis lps, though. |

09.17.11 | Rarest I've got is either an original pressing of F#A# Infinity or a tour edition of As The Roots Undo (only 120 out there) |

09.17.11 | damn, awesome collection.
I believe the only one I have in common is the American football LP, though SOO many of these other ones are ones I'm looking to get at some point in time.
A+ list |

09.17.11 | So lucky with that CTTS album. Shit goes for $80+ all the time. How much did you get it for?
I got the first press of F#A# Infinity for like $20, best find ever. |

09.17.11 | "CDs sound better than vinyls."
Disagree, but to each their own. And the whole record/sleeve thing is awesome. Can't get that with Cd's. |

09.17.11 | The packaging for Dangers - Messy, Isn't It is so awesome. The poster can be a bitch to re-fold though.
Extremely jealous of 74. good shit! |

09.17.11 | why does everyone think they have an original pressing of f#a#? all of the repressings look nearly identical, glued on photo, a million inserts, smashed penny etc... as far as i know, the only way you would know if it's original or not is if it's a Constellation release and it's numbered xxx/500. don't know if Constellation released any after this, but i do know Kranky handled a lot of the represses, and maybe still does |

09.17.11 | actually i may be wrong about all of that. i took this from discogs: There are three ways; if it has a sticker that says "Original 1997 LP" is is not the original, but a copy, you have the reissue!. Another thing is the photo, if it is an actual photo on photo paper, and not a print glued to the front, it is the orignal cover. the "faulty schematics of ruined machine" insert, is the easiest way; this was made on a blue ink press with the original, which made ink scuffs and a light blue color on the paper (look at the first photo of the insert, here on discogs!) this is the original! if the insert os very blue, but has a clear white perimeter, without scuffs and small areas of ink - it is the reissue... (there is also an image of this particular insert in the images here on discogs)
Unfortunately it is VERY hard to distinguish the two, i also bougth the LP at the concert (Astra, Berlin) knowing it was the reissue, then today i recieved what should have been the original in the mail, but again this was the reissue... Bad luck! the only way to be sure, is to check the merchandise before you buy...
