Droning.

So after much dedicated listening I'm finally starting to understand and relatively enjoy this genre and what it is trying to portray. List is albums I've been spinning lately. Any recs would be great.
1Nadja
Radiance of Shadows

By far my favourite album I've discovered within drone yet, this album is absolutely crushing while still retaining a sense of underlying melody and dynamic which makes this album both a hypnotic but memorable listen. Highly recommended.
2Nadja
Touched

The first song I heard from this band was Stays Demons from this album, I was instantly hooked by it's crushing dense atmosphere's attention to layers and detail.
3Boris
Boris At Last - Feedbacker

An extremely popular sputnik band and for good reason, this band made some of the best drone I've ever heard. It was the first album I heard by them, and while it took me alot of time to appreciate, I finally understand what they're going for. The fact that they also incorporate a riff and traditional musical techniques as a climax is fantastic.
4Boris
Flood

More on the ambient side than Feedbacker, it is no less enjoyable.
5Sunn O)))
Black One

The most well known drone act and by far one of the creepiest I've heard. This album lingered in my mind for days and plagued my dreams, fantastic.
6Sunn O)))
Monoliths and Dimensions

Including more traditional musical techniques into the equation such as choirs and trumpets along with the drone, Sunn O))) crafted a more memorable, but no less terrifying listen.
7Sunn O))) and Boris
Altar

An interesting composition which is excellently crafted, but given the talent of the two bands, I did expect something abit more groundbreaking.
8Earth
Earth 2

Absolutely essential, get this.
