09.04.11 | Thanks a bunch, I'll go through these asap. I like Way of Ever-Branching Paths (easily my favorite from new ctts). Summer of Love is also pretty sweet. I did ignore the new Fair to Midland so I'll revisit that album per your request. |
Gyromania
09.04.11 | No problem man - let me know what you think! Btw, new Opeth is pretty good, but I guess it's cool to hate Opeth now, so. |
Lucidity
09.04.11 | It's pretty good but it's just another Opeth album in the end. I haven't listened to Watershed in over a year. |
Gyromania
09.04.11 | Watershed is probably my favorite Opeth album tbh. I like the mixture of calamity and serenity. |

@vanderlyle: Heard them all. I considered adding Flikr of ur Eyes by Swarms and Simple Math by Manchester Orchestra.
@Rev: I didn't expect anyone to be surprised :p |

09.04.11 | I love the confidence of the deep, slow groove coupled with the yearning and sensitivity of the vocal sample. It's a simple track that is quintessential Burial but it has a warmth that is unlike any other track of his. The mood is so relaxed and nonconfrontational that it works perfectly without demanding progression or a climax of any sort. Stolen Dog is a close second for me (was my favorite pick for the longest time) and Street Halo is great but I never find myself needing to listen to it. |
