Fyf Fest At Vans Warehouse

These are the bands that played at Vans Warehouse to close FYF fest on August 24, 2011 in Brooklyn.
1Krallice

These guys weren't mind-blowing like the other two, and their sound mix was off so I wasn't very entertained. Judged by what I could comprehend, they seemed like they were pretty good, just not my cup of tea.
2Touche' Amore'

I did not expect such an intense and passionate crowd reaction to such a new band. I loved these guys' set and performance. If you haven't checked them out, pick up their 2011 release "Parting the Sea Between Brightness and Me" and go to the next show near you, it'll be worth it.
3Converge

My first time seeing Converge absolutely blew my mind. I met Jacob Bannon prior to the show and he was the nicest and most down to earth guy, as if he wasn't really the owner of Deathwish Inc., or the frontman of possibly the greatest Hardcore/Metalcore band in existence, Converge. They were absolutely on spot, and the only thing that sucked about their performance was they didn't play "The Saddest Day" or "Jane Doe". However, they played a various amount of songs from their past four ingenious albums and I couldn't bring myself to ask for an encore, because I would have felt too greedy asking for more of the beauty I witnessed.
