Hatebreed Rated

It is what is says. No confusion possible.

Satisfaction Is the Death of Desire

A unique, heavy meld of in-ya-face hardcore and thrashing metal. I love this but it is also their weakest effort (I mean, their less strong effort). Their most brutal album until 2003. Love "Puritan", "Prepare for War", "Empty Promises", "Last Breath" and, of course, "Conceived Through an Act of Violence".

Perseverance

Still old-school, but better produced. Much better produced. Must check out "I Will Be Heard", "Perseverance" and "Final Prayer".

Rise of Brutality

Does what it says in the tin. A brutal metalcore antic, which owes nothing to Earth Crisis or VOD. Notice also the advance in Jamey Jasta's vocal type, now more like Phil Anselmo.

Supremacy

It has one of the coolest opening tracks ever, and while it maybe isn't exactly more brutal than Rise of Brutality, it is more varied and features better riffing. Check out "Defeatist", "Destroy Everything" and "To the Threshold".

Hatebreed

Yes, this is their best album ever. Basically, the natural follow-up to Supremacy: brutal but varied. Again, the opening track is memorable and it continues into harder and more diverse brutal landscapes. As Jamey Jasta said, "violence is a given".
