Satellite 05.21.11	3 for sure. also... green day - dookie black sabbath - s/t nirvana - nevermind paul simon - graceland bush - sixteen stone oasis - (what's the story) morning glory i had young parents, so i think that helped.

foreverendeared 05.21.11	My mom just listens to whatever crap they have on the christian radio. My dad just listens to whatever crap they have on the hard rock station, with a background in a lot of Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Uriah Heep, etc. So basically, I've had to blaze my own trail. I don't think they influenced my current taste in music at all.
Vesper 05.21.11	I listened to only classical music until I was 12. No lie. (Well, I tried to get into the boy bands that my friends were into, but that, thankfully, didn't click with me.) AFI has undoubtedly been the most influential band for me - I heard Art of Drowning when I was thirteen and Sing the Sorrow remains my most played album ever. NIN - Downward Spiral (The obvious intro to industrial.) System of a Down - Toxicity As I Lay Dying - Shadows Are Security (Yeah, my intro to metal...) The Birthday Massacre - Violet (This got me to later explore gothic rock.) My Chemical Romance - Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge Yes, MCR. No shame.

Vesper 05.21.11	More nostalgia than reverence, Satellite. Also, "Helena" is a seriously cathartic karaoke tune.

Vesper 05.21.11	Didn't seem particularly dick-ish. I get shit for it from my boyfriend, haha. I don't think MCR are very good, but they were the first big show I saw with my best friends at the time, and it was pretty goddamn fun.
