I will defeat you. @Rabbit - I love Silent Shout so much that I just can't help wishing it was more like that album (I know, bad reason. I can't help it though). I appreciate the creativity and there are definitely moments of brilliance, but as a whole I didn't get into it as much as others this year. Still great album though. Btw, on my "Need to Beat" game list: Mass Effect 1&2 Deus Ex Metal Gear Solid 4 Thief

My top 5 games would be (roughly): Monster Rancher 2 (all time favorite) Final Fantasy VI Ninja Gaiden Black Majora's Mask Mario RPG
Yotimi 02.10.11	I figured people wouldn't really "get" Tomb Raider being number 1. I'm older than most here (26) and that game came out in 1996, and along with Mario 64 (which came out in '96 too) revolutionized 3D platformers. The hugeness of the game was overwhelming, the gameplay was as wide open as any game for its time. The atmosphere is PERFECT. The music isn't intrusive. It's challenging, takes a while to complete, and the controls are perfect for the type of game. You can't just run and jump around aimlessly like most games today (which would ruin the experience), you have to think about each jump, time it perfectly, because at any time it can result in death. People mistake it for an action game sometimes.

acorncheese 02.10.11	You should check out Monster Rancher 2 if you ever get the chance. It's a bit pricey these days, but well worth it. Doubt any game will ever come close to it for me. Only game in which repetition satisfies.

I was really hoping I wouldn't be one of those stupid people who thought the game was overrated or something, and thank goodness I'm finding out that I'm not. Game is boss. After boss. After boss. But really, boss.

Yotimi 02.11.11	Played FFVII when it came out so there's a lot of nostalgia there. I never finished IX but liked what I played, and X I wasn't a huge fan of (even though quidditch is pretty cool....)
