1. Shane Watson. Consistent, and plenty of value with the ball. Just needs

2. Phil Hughes. His scores of late have been pretty shaky, but it's obvious
how hard he's worked on his technique, with good results. Way too much

3. Usman Khawaja. Easily the most exciting prospect in the country. Should

4. Callum Ferguson. While I do think he's pretty overrated, it seems he's
the best placed state batsman to come through. Wouldn't surprise me if he

5. Michael Clarke (c). I'm one of those few who actually agree on Clarke
being captain. His form will improve batting at 5, and he's the man to take

7. Tim Paine. The sooner we get him in the side the better. Possibly a future
captain, and there seems to be a bit more about him with the gloves than

Get Yer Ya-Yas Out!
8. Mitchell Johnson. Obviously needs to regain some consistent confidence,
but he's our best hope of a spearhead for the attack. Dangerous lower

Goats Head Soup
9. Nathan Hauritz. He's no Shane Warne, but he's the best we've got.
Michael Beer looks okay in this current match, but the way Hauritz got

10. Josh Hazlewood. Obviously not ready quite yet, but he'll be a quick of
the future for sure. If there's anything we need, it's a youthful fast bowler,

Black and Blue
11. Doug Bollinger. Doug the rug adds much needed character to the team.
Tries his heart out as well, and will take enough big wickets consistently to
earn his keep. | |
