Stones And Cricket

Now that the test match season has come to a close, and Australia's rfailed to regain the Ashes, rrthis is my side for moving forward. Also, rThe Rolling Stones probably don't get enough love rraround here.
1The Rolling Stones
Let It Bleed

1. Shane Watson. Consistent, and plenty of value with the ball. Just needs
to turn those fifties into tons.
2The Rolling Stones
Sticky Fingers

2. Phil Hughes. His scores of late have been pretty shaky, but it's obvious
how hard he's worked on his technique, with good results. Way too much
potential to drop him just yet.
3The Rolling Stones
Exile on Main Street

3. Usman Khawaja. Easily the most exciting prospect in the country. Should
have a lengthy career ahead of him.
4 The Rolling Stones
Beggar's Banquet

4. Callum Ferguson. While I do think he's pretty overrated, it seems he's
the best placed state batsman to come through. Wouldn't surprise me if he
doesn't perform though.
5The Rolling Stones
Aftermath

5. Michael Clarke (c). I'm one of those few who actually agree on Clarke
being captain. His form will improve batting at 5, and he's the man to take
the team forward.
6The Rolling Stones
The Rolling Stones

6. Ricky Ponting. We need his experience for a little longer yet. He'd be a
daunting prospect for any side, batting at 6.
7The Rolling Stones
Some Girls

7. Tim Paine. The sooner we get him in the side the better. Possibly a future
captain, and there seems to be a bit more about him with the gloves than
Brad Haddin.
8The Rolling Stones
Get Yer Ya-Yas Out!

8. Mitchell Johnson. Obviously needs to regain some consistent confidence,
but he's our best hope of a spearhead for the attack. Dangerous lower
order bat which we also need these days.
9The Rolling Stones
Goats Head Soup

9. Nathan Hauritz. He's no Shane Warne, but he's the best we've got.
Michael Beer looks okay in this current match, but the way Hauritz got
dropped after India was disgusting. He's in form too.
10The Rolling Stones
The Rolling Stones No.2

10. Josh Hazlewood. Obviously not ready quite yet, but he'll be a quick of
the future for sure. If there's anything we need, it's a youthful fast bowler,
rather than all these late 20's debutants we've had of late.
11The Rolling Stones
Black and Blue

11. Doug Bollinger. Doug the rug adds much needed character to the team.
Tries his heart out as well, and will take enough big wickets consistently to
earn his keep.
