Yes, this is Pit. No, I do not know why I was banned. Do I have any suspicions? For the first time since I've joined Sputnik, I truly haven't any idea why I was banned. With lyrics like, "I hurt myself today," and "The needle tears a hole," it's obvious what Trent is vocalizing. However, I don't believe the mix of metaphors and blunt lyrics have ever been blended so perfectly. I understand drug addicts/alcoholics don't deserve any sympathy, but their minds trick them into thinking they do, and this song is a perfect example. Drug addiction/alcoholism is just a pity party for an unfortunate soul. I put this song on here more for nostalgic reasons, as when I was 15 and on the brink of insanity I would hear this song and feel much better about what had happened or what was to come. | | 4 | Jawbreaker

During my trials and tribulations, all of my friends were sitting there watching me wither away, because they had already exhausted every path to get me outta the mess I had created for myself. This song tells that story beautifully. Addiction isn't just about having a chemical dependency. It's also about finding one's way to go through life without having to feel anything.
