Crunch Time Kids
Well some people are making their 2010 lists already, but for me this
is crunch time. For as awesome as 2010 has been for me already, I
know I'm still missing a lot. I'm gonna listen to more music in
december than ever before, rec me the most important stuff I'm
missing plz. |
| 1 | | How to Dress Well Love Remains
Not intentionally making this list in order, though it will probably tend to
have more liked albums on top. This is my number 1 though. |
| 2 | | Sufjan Stevens The Age of Adz
Overtook 1 for awhile, but I think it was just the initial hype. This got me
into Illinois too though so that was good. |
| 3 | | Kanye West My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
I thought this was number 1 for awhile too. It still could be but I don't think
it quite beats out 1 or 2. |
| 4 | | letlive Fake History
I feel like this album was written for me, this is exactly the kind of music I love. |
| 5 | | Kno Death is Silent
Listened to less once I picked up mellowhype and kanye, but this is still
incredible. |
| 6 | | MellowHype BLACKENEDWHITE
Been loving 2010 hip-hop |
| 7 | | Circa Survive Blue Sky Noise
fanboyism at its best |
| 8 | | Touche Amore/La Dispute Searching for a Pulse/The Worth of the World
For as much as I loved this once I sure don't listen to it much anymore, but
it's more from over-playing than thinking its worse. |
| 9 | | The Dillinger Escape Plan Option Paralysis
This was the coolest album ever for a month. This grew off me hard but that
just shows how much i loved it initially |
| 10 | | Deftones Diamond Eyes
I should re-listen to this I think this could be higher |
| 11 | | The Tallest Man on Earth The Wild Hunt
who wouldnt love this honestly |
| 12 | | Parades Foreign Tapes
This is really awesome, The songs |
| 13 | | Titus Andronicus The Monitor
This would be higher on a real list i forgot until i got here though |
| 14 | | Deerhunter Halcyon Digest
I don't think I like it as much as Microcastle but im probably not done
getting into this yet |
| 15 | | Flying Lotus Cosmogramma
theres so much awesome packed into this |
| 16 | | Kvelertak Kvelertak
The bm vocals in the hardcore setting work sooooo well IMO. |
| 17 | | Trophy Scars Darkness, Oh Hell
Not gripping me like bad luck did but still great |
| 18 | | Baths Cerulean
I have this in my library as just s/t im just now finding out thats wrong |
| 19 | | Alcest Ecailles De Lune
I actually gave this a full listen for the first time tonight, good stuff I'm just
not sure how often I'll listen to something like this. |
| 20 | | Tera Melos Patagonian Rats
Loved this so much at first |
| 21 | | Dead Letter Circus This is the Warning
If only everything was as good as the opener |
| 22 | | Big Boi Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty
If only everything was as good as Tangerine |
| 23 | | Janelle Monae The ArchAndroid (Suites II and III of IV)
Never got the hype, probably not my style though. |
| 24 | | Jonsi Go
Some of this is really fun but as a whole it wasn't and I was bored with it
after like 2 listens. |
| 25 | | Enslaved Axioma Ethica Odini
I didn't really listen to this properly just gave it a test, bm isn't really my
thing and I don't think this would change anything. |
| 26 | | Rosetta A Determinism of Morality
Same story as 25, just listened to part and didn't think I would like it so i
ditched it. |
| 27 | | The Felix Cupla Sever Your Roots
I've only heard this all the way through once, it probably has a lot of grow
potential but there were a few tracks I really liked. I feel like I've heard a
lot of this before though. |
| 28 | | Deadmau5 4x4=12
Just got it yesterday |
| 29 | | The Knife Tomorrow, In a Year
Listening to this right now for the first time, which is weird because I loved
Silent Shout. I know this isn't anything like it but I really like it when artists
experiment a lot. |
| 30 | | Eminem Recovery
terrible |
