Favorite Deathcore Drumming

Some you may have heard of, others maybe not!
5Animosity
Animal

Navene shows his technical side on this CD more than Empires. He just doesn't
hit as hard as the others on this list. "You Can't Win" and "Operating From The
Ditch" are my favs.
4Despised Icon
The Ills Of Modern Man

Ridiculous. Fast. Insane. The only reason I didn't rate this higher is because
sometimes it's WAY too much. Nevertheless, I love Alex Grind's drums on this
record, more than Day Of Mourning. "Tears of the Blameless" shines out because there is no blasting. "In The Arms of
Perdition" shines BECAUSE of the blasting.
3Salt The Wound
Ares

Rob Walters shines on "When People Are Shameless" and "Hail The Locusts."
More than your average DM or DC drummer. Great ride work, and he uses the
most out of his 4 piece kit.
2Ion Dissonance
Minus The Herd

JF Richard blazes through this album using crazy time signatures, great cymbal
work, and tasteful flams. I love the drum sound he and Zuess achieved on this
cd. This album isn't straight deathcore but it has its moments. "Scorn Haven" and "The Surge" are my favorites.
"Untitled" is an awesome break from the heavy CD.
1Rose Funeral
The Resting Sonata

Andrew Horton. Track for track, being a drummer I have never been so blown away by a
deathcore drummer. To record this CD he used three chinas, two bells, two hi-
hats, a splash, 2 crashes, and a ride. He uses ALL of them. Great euro blasts,
straight blasts, tasteful gravities. "Buried Beneath" and "Created To Kill" are my favs.
