| Need Some Folk
So, an incredibly brutal game of volleyball ended up with me blacking out and getting a concussion. Now I've got to lay in bed all the time and listen to quiet shit, so this would be a perfect time to check out some new folk. Here's some of my favorites in the genre, rec's would be appreciated very much. | 1 | | Nick Drake Five Leaves Left
Anybody that knows me well should probably have expected this to be here. I'll be revisiting his entire discography today. | 1 | | Nick Drake Five Leaves Left

Really good EP, I really like the traditional elements thrown in. Reviewing this right now, will try to finish today, but might not be able to do so with AP Chem/AP World homework. | 9 | | Poropetra Poropetra

I'll finish the Jethro Tull discography sometime in the near future (only got 2-3 more) and then I'll do his solo stuff. His best post-'78 album, hands down. | 13 | | Ian Anderson The Secret Language Of Birds

10.03.10 | Nice Vander. Doubles ftw haha. Nick Drake's "Pink Moon" is my favorite album in this genre so I can't rec that since you already know it. Here's some, some are old, some are modern, some are by artists you listed above but may be albums that you haven't heard:
Neil Young- After the Gold Rush (i've heard 4 of his albums already, it's his best so far and definitely better than Harvest)
Bob Dylan- Freewheelin' Bob Dylan (underrated compared to his other stuff)
William Fitzsimmons- Goodnight
Andrew Bird- Armchair Apocrypha (less experimental than Eggs, but better imo)
Sufjan Stevens- Illinoise (even though he's an inconsistent, Illinoise is my most played album of all time and is a fucking huge 5. Sufjan is very similar to Andrew Bird. Not really folk itself, but you had Andrew Bird on here so I figured I'd rec this).
Iron and Wine- Our Endless Numbered Days | BigHans
10.03.10 | William Fitzsimmons - Until When We Were Ghosts. | NeutralThunder12
