Suishou no Fune (bluesy jammy psych)
Nagisa Ni Te (psych pop)
Green Milk from the Planet Orange (noise/space psych)
Acid Mothers Temple (basically every kind of psych)
I've also had people tell me Boredoms are really good, but I haven't checked them out yet. Also, while they're not psych, Melt-Banana is pretty mindblowing. Sort of hyper fast, upbeat punk rock with electronics, high-pitched female vocals, and other assorted weirdness. The musical equivalent of eating a box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch with Red Bull instead of milk.
And of course, you can't forget about Merzbow. |
