Speaking of bizarre and intriguing, reviews I've read say this album is filled with progressive epics arranged for folksy acoustic settings. They must have changed it up a little since I saw them open for Iron and Wine a few years back. |

Whenever these deluxe remasters come out, it's usually a tough decision about whether or not an album is worth buying twice. For this, however, there's hardly any question at all, not only because of the abundance of bonus material they've collected for the release, but also since the original album is in such dire need of remastering anyway. |

I had no idea these guys were even still around. At the very least, it should be interesting to hear how they've progressed from their alt nu-metallic roots (although they were one of the stronger bands of that movement). |

An abysmal series, yet one with consistently strong musical choices. Muse, The Black Keys, The Dead Weather, Beck, Vampire Weekend, Cee-Lo. I love them all for their music, and hate them all for making me support the Twilight franchise. |

Everything I've heard off of this has been really good, and though some early reviews say this isn't as strong as The '59 Sound, I think if it's even half as good as that album, it'll be one of the best rock records of the year. |

John Prine is an excellent songwriter to begin with, so I don't see how you could go wrong adding My Morning Jacket, Justin Vernon, The Avett Brothers, and a slew of others into the mix. |
