| Dear Virus: Leave Me Alone
Last Friday, I woke up with a walnut-sized lymph node under my chin - GENERALLY a bad sign. So, I went to the doctor, was put on antibiotics, and set up a follow-up appointment.
By Wednesday, I had a fever, three swollen lymph nodes (chin, neck, and armpit), sore throat, headache, stomach ache, dizziness, etc. The doctor ran a CBC blood test, and I tested negative for mono.
Now it's Saturday, and I'm in the same boat as Wednesday but worse, and would love to know what's up. Any thoughts?

I know a well-knowledged medical sputniker is probably going to correct me, but to my understanding, your lymphatic system helps fight disease. You have "centers" that circulate "lymph" through your body, and when you're sick, they swell up. Usually they don't hurt, but they're kind of like cysts. Except mine under my chin was HUGE, and I can't really move my neck around without it hurting. | Klekticist

Evidently during the first week, there's a 25% chance of a false-negative reading for mono, so there's still a chance it's mono, but idk! Do those symptoms sound anything like when you had it?
