The festivals only 16 days away now! Cannot wait. Here are the bands i'm looking forward to seeing; any thoughts, opinions? | 1 | Deftones
Love this band, and the new album is actualy as good as the people say. Cannot wait to go mad, and especialy hear 'Beauty School'. | 2 | Megadeth
Not so fussed on the new stuf which is consistantly average in my opinion. Still for Peace Sells and RIP tracks live will be amazing. Should be further up the bill. | 3 | Rage Against The Machine
Do I need an explanation? Saw them at Readaing 08 with the worlds worst cold and still loved it. Would like another go at the pit. Need to play Renagades of Funk this time though. | 4 | AC/DC
Not that happy that it seems half of Friday will be dedicated solely to AC/DC, meaning its unlikely any other bands will be announced. Still though three hours of DC and beer will be imense! | 5 | Slash
Looking forward to seeing the legend, and hopefully some special guests... | 6 | Motorhead
Somehow havent seen them live before, Ace Of Spades will be nice though. | 7 | Stone Sour
Would of prefered Slipknot, but the alternative on mainstage is Aerosmith, and, well im not going to see them. A cash gig if you ever saw one. Charging something like 120 Pounds for a single gig in London. Mad. | 8 | Stone Temple Pilots
Never gotten into them, but I might just try to if they perform well. | 9 | Breed 77
Heard great things about the band, open minded and looking forward to it. | 10 | Bullet For My Valentine
Going to get hate for this, but im curious! | |

05.24.10 | Should be cool. 2 puts up a fantastic show. When I saw them a few weeks ago, they played barely any new stuff, only She-Wolf, Trust, and Head Crusher | yetanotherprofile
05.24.10 | That's good news, I always try and like what they put out, but I havent rated the last two albums. Lucretia live though is going to be amazing! What would you rate them live? | vanderb0b
05.24.10 | Honestly, I think the show was perfect. The band (and crowd) was energetic as hell, and they didn't make any mistakes. RiP sounded even better live, and I found myself enjoying the songs that I previously disliked (such as Head Crusher). Best part was the Tornado Of Souls solo, 30 seconds of pure shred. | yetanotherprofile
05.24.10 | Sweet, I cant wait now! That sounds awesome. Thanks. | FadeToBlack
05.24.10 | umm bro Endgame is easily the best thing they've done since Countdown To Extinction. definitley not average | yetanotherprofile
05.24.10 | Well it's just my opnion. I didnt think the album was bad or anything, it just didnt leave much of an impression on me. Probably havent listened to it in two months.
Cannot look at links at work! | AliW1993
05.24.10 | I wanted to go to Download but it falls in the middle of my exams, so Im going to Leeds instead. Lineup's nowhere near as good so far unfortunately :( | yetanotherprofile
05.24.10 | Yer that sucks man. I usualy go to Reading, but I think the line-up is pretty poor, and obviously Leeds the same. | AliW1993
05.24.10 | There's a few that I really want to see (QOTSA, Biffy Clyro, Gaslight Anthem) and the smaller stages haven't been announced yet, but the headliners are pretty poor. I love Blink and GNR but can't help thinking they'll both be awful. | TBliss
05.24.10 | I'll be there, its gonna rule. | yetanotherprofile
05.24.10 | Good man!
Gaslight Anthem ay? I'l give them a watch.
I'v seen QOTSA and they pants at reading a few years back- I think they were having an off day. Biffy are good live even if they have sold out a bit. Cypress Hill would be fun! |
