Past Their Prime
1Weezer
Raditude

Cuomo was never the genius that some people think he was, but he's gone
from being a solid songwriter to a piece of shit on legs.
2John Frusciante
The Empyrean

Hit his creative peak with Blood Sugar Sex Magik and Niandra Lades.
Despite what some people would have you believe, his more recent albums
are kind of boring and sound like Cat Stevens with synthesizers and warbly
vocal effects
3The Flaming Lips
Embryonic

Were at their best from 1995-1999. Embryonic is quite good and a huge
improvement over Mystics but sputnik should stop ejaculating all over it
4Nine Inch Nails
Year Zero

Now firmly in the realm of comedy music, i listen to the more recent NIN albums, read the
lyrics and get the same amusement that i get out of Limp Bizkit and Fred Durst's
musings on the world. Trent Reznor is a hack
5Pearl Jam
Backspacer

They were never an amazing band or anything, but Ten was good (though
HUGELY overrated, and it's not grunge either) Vitalogy, Yield etc are solid
and definitely underrated. On this album they sound like a shitty bar band.
Creatively bankrupt.
6Isis
Wavering Radiant

One of my favorite bands, and I enjoyed Wavering Radiant, but it didn't
break any new ground whatsoever and i don't think they'll ever be able to
top Oceanic or Panopticon.
7Radiohead
In Rainbows

Their newer material is still excellent but no longer surprising or as awe
inspiring as they were from 1997-2000
8The Mars Volta
Frances the Mute

One superb album (De-Loused) and then a steady stream of audio
diarrhea. They don't know the meaning of quality control
9Queens of the Stone Age
Era Vulgaris

This album had about two good songs, and Them Crooked Vultures is just
the same old shit
10 Pixies

Are now a nostalgia act, will keep touring but still too afraid to release any
new material. Lame.
