The Incident
GAH! Thats what I think of whenever I think about listening to The Incident. Its full of pretentiousness, crappy songwriting/concepts and unispirational musicianship. It's a pity that the four tracks on the second disc are better than the other disc. | | 2 |  | Animal Collective
Merriweather Post Pavilion

The Happiness Project
I like Broken Social Scene when the members aren't in Broken Social Scene, ie Kevin Drew and Feist. However, the same can not be said with Charles Spearin. Musically it is very good, as the jazz overtones are cool but the interviews annoyed me. I know its meant to be sweet, sentimental and heart-wrenching but it just me want to skip to the places where it was just music. | | 5 |  | Regina Spektor

Mega Mountain
Worst EP (of 2) that I bought this year. Its not even in the database which will not change anytime in the future. The only good thing is their name which is not even that funny. | | 7 | | Fun
Aim & Ignite
Sure its uplifting but it lacks substance. If I wanted to listen to Queen, I'd listen to Queen. There are a few cool tracks like 'Light a Roman Candle with Me' but there are so many iffy and annoying parts that it makes me not want to hear more. | | 8 |  | Phoenix

12.17.09 | @sea/leper- Sure, I could have combined them but they wouldn't been why I was making these lists. And I could have made them on seperate days but I had my train of thought about all of them, thus why I made three lists.
@nin- I just think it has too much of her vocals. That said, I should listen again.
@yotimi- I guess I mean harmonizing.
@thebhoy- Yeah, I think some of the interviews were cool. And I liked the concept around how the pitch of their voice works with music. I just couldn't get into it as much as I would have liked tho.
@bungy/baphomet- Thanks for your insight. I like uplifting, as they normally have something endearing and fulfilling. MPP just goes on for too long for my liking. I may try Fall Be Kind though. | EVedder27
