12.15.09 | Machina is probably the Pumpkins worst record. Superunknown and Badmotofinger are superior to Down on the upside. Dirt and Jar of Flies are AIC best albums. Pearl Jam's Ten and Nirvana's In utero should be on here. Songs for the Deaf and Rated R are equally brilliant. NIne inch Nails and Tool are not grunge/alternative, nor would I classify Queens of the Stone age as such. Your list is pretty good but a bit directionless and also misrepresentational of grunge/alternative. |

03.27.10 | It's actually meant to be my personal favourite alternative albums rather than the more critically acclaimed albums. I still love Ten, Dirt, Jar of Flies, Siamese Dream etc, but this list is just my preference. |
