12.11.09 | I find For Emma a good bit overrated although it's still lovely. For that I'd rec:
Sufjan Stevens - Michigan
Iron & Wine - The Shepard's Dog
Devendra Banhart - Nino Rojo (not really sad but same guy-with-a-guitar greatness)
Return to Cookie Mountain is one of my favorite albums of all time. Give it more listens and it'll really sink in. It's pretty eclectic so recs are almost all over the place but still I suggest:
