Children of Bodom's Magnum Opus. Hard-Hitting and relentless.
2Dimmu Borgir
For All Tid

Their first album back when they were still "true" black metal. Very dark sounding and melodic.
3Bathory
Hammerheart

One of the earliest examples of Viking Metal. This album is epic.
4Emperor
IX Equilibrium

A lot more progressive sounding than their earlier album, but still damn good.
5Flogging Molly
Drunken Lullabies

Irish folk thrown together with punk rock. Like peanutbutter and chocolate.
