Personally, I thought Colors was a fuckin' MASTERPIECE. This was back to their old, churning and

I know that Anthony Green left the band well before this album, but how come when the singer leaves,
the rest of the band loses it's testicles... I don't get it. I was expecting more from this debut after ALL
the

WELCOME HOME is the greatest song Coheed ever wrote. I heard this song, and got SO pumped for this
album. Then I heard the rest of the album and was let down SO bad. This is their weakest album by far,
but for some reason, they have a few diamonds in the rough. It's not terrible, no, but it's just not up to

Sirens
The Catiff Chior is one of my favorite metalcore albums. This follow up was simply following the trend
of
hardcore and metal bands going softer. And not well enough to make it great. | | 9 |  | Poison the Well
Versions
I don't know, just not really my cup of tea. They were intense enough to keep me listening when they
were hardcore, but this sort of indie-rock-hardcore thing they did just bored me. And the fact that
they
can't pull off most of it live because they are a 3-piece off it. They play with 2 random people, and have
to
pick and chose the songs because of all the different instruments they aren't going to play live... Not a
fan

Deathless
This has only been out a few days and I'm already disappointed in it. They totally stepped the intensity
down. This is a much slower, much more churning album. It just does not excite at all. | |

side note: their vocalist had something wrong with his throat, like strep or something when they recorded, and it was easier for him to sing than scream.might be an excuse, but at least that's hat i heard. | Inveigh

I agree with most of these, even 9 to a certain extent, although it really grew on me over time. Now I love it. | ninjuice
