The Jungler 09.23.06	I feel like a real idiot playing along to albums because i don't know alot of good songs on guitar (its not that I'm not good, I just would rather write stuff) but I could see how it could be fun with some of these songs. You make the best lists.

YDload 09.24.06	Playing along with songs helps you to write stuff on your own, because you find out what works for you. What's easiest to play (without sounding boring), what chord progressions sound good to you, and where you might want to add fills to make it interesting. Most professional musicians, no matter how skilled or unskilled they are, can teach you something about yourself when you learn their songs.
CharmlessMan 09.24.06	I love playin along to songs, it's not only a good ability-builder, but you can add your own flavour to the mix, test the waters and see how it sounds. Plus, when your hanging our with mates, and a song comes on the radio/telly, you can go "hehe, I can play that"
