well...it's been a while since my last '09 Digs' but now I'm well and truly back into listening to music, so i should get another of these up in a few weeks. also, haven't listened to most of the latest albums, i've got about 200 more to listen to...so don't rec me stuff because chances are, it's on my wishlist already.

4.5 - Black/Sludge Metal from USA. Woah, this album is massive. Significantly underrated, it's the blackest and sludgiest piece of music i've heard in ages. This will well and truly be in my top 10 at the end of the year!! |

4.0 - Depressive Black Metal from Australia. yeah, aussie black metal!! These guys play a very instrumental type of BM, with a tortured scream looped over and over, and hey, it really works. I'm suprised i'm the second to have rated this, because it will surely be a sputnik favourite, if only someone would review it... |
