hi there im relatively new to the site, so i thought i would start nice and simple and post what i think the best albums of the last 10 years were (from what ive heard), happy reading!

Temple of Shadows

Brilliant from beginning to end, doesn't come off as cheesy, and each song is great to listen to as the whole album
2Communic
Conspiracy in Mind

No weaknesses on this album either, the band knows exactly how to keep a long song interesting, shame they couldn't do it on their latest album
3Agalloch
The Mantle

A perfect mix of heavy and soft guitar.
4 Orphaned Land
Mabool (The Story of Three Sons...)

You can really hear the effort that went into the making of this album. For a really epic moment look no further than the female vocals at the end of the first song :)
5Porcupine Tree
In Absentia

Some very emotional songs on this album, particularly 'Heart Attack in a Lay By'.
